Dick Clark held dances at the Starlight Ballroom and Bobby Rydell immortalized “Wildwood Days” in song Just be sure to “watch the tram car, please”.

But a wrecking ball threatens the memories of generations of beachgoers who come year after year. Will it destroy the magic of a place where it’s always “the summer of ‘63”?
